Walking With Alex Foundation
October 21, 2026 | Taglyan Cultural Complex | Hollywood, California
On October 21, 2026, the Walking With Alex Foundation will bring together our friends, supporters, community leaders, philanthropists, professionals, and advocates for an extraordinary evening dedicated to one mission: creating greater opportunities for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Our 2026 Gala will take place at the beautiful Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood, California, where hundreds of guests will gather under one roof for an elegant evening of philanthropy, connection, entertainment, and hope.
This will be more than a gala.
It will be a celebration of what we have accomplished together—and an introduction to everything we hope to accomplish next.
Celebrating the Lives We Are Already Changing
Since our official launch on January 7, 2026, Walking With Alex Foundation has been working to provide children with autism access to therapies their families otherwise could not afford.
Through our partnerships with centers in Armenia and Lebanon, we have helped fund speech therapy, occupational therapy, aquatic therapy, music therapy, physical therapy, and other developmental services.
At our Gala, we will share more about this work and the children and families whose lives have been impacted by it.
For some families, our support has meant increasing their child from only one or two hours of therapy per week to a much more comprehensive therapy schedule.
For others, it has meant receiving outside assistance for their child for the first time.
And for some children, it has meant finally receiving early intervention services that their families had desperately wanted to provide but simply could not afford.
On October 21, our supporters will have the opportunity to see what their generosity has made possible.
But we will also be looking toward the future.
Our Next Chapter: Reaching More Children
One of our most important goals for the Gala is to raise the funds necessary to significantly increase the number of children we can support.
The need extends far beyond the families we are currently able to reach.
We want to expand into additional cities, communities, and villages, including areas where families may have extremely limited access to specialized developmental services.
A child’s ZIP code—or the village in which that child happens to be born—should not determine whether that child receives an opportunity to develop essential skills.
We want to reach families who have never had access to specialized services.
We want to reach parents who have been told what their child needs but cannot afford it.
And we want to reach children whose potential is waiting for someone to invest in it.
Expanding Beyond Therapy
We also hope to expand how we support children.
One initiative we are exploring is a professionally supervised nutritional and supplement-support program.
Families in the United States and elsewhere increasingly encounter discussions surrounding nutrition, nutritional deficiencies, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and other supplements in connection with children’s overall health and development.
Our goal would not be to promote supplements as a cure or treatment for autism. Rather, we hope to work with appropriately qualified healthcare professionals to identify safe, evidence-informed ways of supporting children’s nutritional and overall health needs where appropriate.
Any future program would prioritize medical oversight, safety, appropriate dosing, individual needs, potential interactions, and the scientific evidence supporting particular interventions.
We believe that if we expand into this area, we have a responsibility to do it thoughtfully and responsibly.
Expanding the Children We Serve
Our vision is also growing beyond autism.
Thus far, much of our work has focused on providing therapies to children on the autism spectrum. Autism will always remain deeply connected to the heart and history of Walking With Alex Foundation.
But there are so many other children whose families face similar challenges accessing necessary services.
As our resources grow, we hope to expand our assistance to children living with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, physical disabilities, cleft lip and palate, developmental disabilities, and other conditions that may require specialized therapies, treatment, equipment, or support.
We envision a future where Walking With Alex Foundation can look at the needs of the individual child rather than the name of the diagnosis.
Because behind every diagnosis is a child.
And behind that child is often a family doing everything within its power to give that child the best possible future.
A Long-Term Investment: Training More Professionals
One of our longer-term goals is to address another major problem facing families: the shortage of trained professionals.
Funding therapy is enormously important. But therapy cannot be provided without qualified people to deliver it.
As our Foundation grows, we hope to create opportunities for additional professional training and education in the field of autism and developmental disabilities, particularly in communities where specialized expertise remains limited.
Imagine the long-term impact of helping train one professional who then works with hundreds of children throughout his or her career.
That is how philanthropy can create change that lasts far beyond a single donation.
It is one of the reasons our vision for Walking With Alex Foundation is so much larger than simply paying for individual therapy sessions.
We want to help build infrastructure that continues serving children for years to come.
An Extraordinary Evening in Hollywood
A mission this meaningful deserves an unforgettable evening.
Our October 21 Gala at Taglyan Cultural Complex is being designed as a sophisticated and luxurious experience from the moment our guests arrive.
Against the backdrop of one of Hollywood’s most elegant venues, guests will enjoy an evening that brings together philanthropy, glamour, entertainment, and meaningful connection.
Expect an exceptional room filled with influential professionals, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, community leaders, advocates, and supporters who share a desire to make an impact.
There will be incredible networking opportunities, entertainment, extensive media and press presence, exciting raffle opportunities, and a live auction featuring exceptional experiences and items.
Guests will have opportunities throughout the evening to participate directly in our mission while enjoying a beautiful celebration surrounded by people who believe in giving back.
It will be elegant.
It will be inspiring.
And it will be an evening with purpose behind every detail.
Where Luxury Meets Purpose
There is something incredibly powerful about bringing hundreds of people together in a beautiful room for children who may never know the names of the people helping them.
A guest may raise a paddle during our live auction.
Someone else may purchase raffle tickets.
A business may become a sponsor.
Another person may simply attend, learn about our mission, and decide that night that they want to become part of it.
But collectively, those actions can become therapy hours for a child thousands of miles away.
They can become speech therapy.
Occupational therapy.
Aquatic therapy.
Physical therapy.
Professional training.
Support for a family that has never received help before.
And, ultimately, opportunity for a child.
That is what makes this evening special.
The luxury surrounding the Gala is part of the experience. But the purpose behind the Gala is what gives the evening its meaning.
October 21, 2026: Help Us Write the Next Chapter
We are incredibly proud of what Walking With Alex Foundation has accomplished since January 7, 2026.
But we do not see our accomplishments as the finish line.
We see them as proof of what is possible.
On October 21, we will share our progress, celebrate the children and families we have already been able to support, and present our vision for what comes next.
More children.
More therapy.
More communities.
More types of assistance.
More trained professionals.
More families who know that they are not alone.
And eventually, we hope, an organization capable of changing the trajectory of thousands of children’s lives.
We invite you to join us at the Walking With Alex Foundation 2026 Gala on October 21, 2026, at Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood, California.
Come dressed for an extraordinary evening.
Come ready to connect.
Come ready to celebrate.
And most importantly, come ready to make a difference.
Because when hundreds of people gather under one roof with generosity, resources, influence, and a shared purpose, what begins as one beautiful evening can create opportunities for children that last a lifetime.
